Sounds of Intent's Founder wins a Social Impact Award

Adam Roehampton Award

The good news keeps rolling at Sounds of Intent! We are beyond proud of our founder, Adam, who has recently been awarded the University of Roehampton Social Impact Award for Research. There were just 8 winners out of 70 deserving nominees for Research categories, with Adam being the sole winner of the Social Impact category, so this achievement was no mean feat!

Adam’s research has been not only pioneering, but profoundly important when applied and embedded. New music curricula, resources, teaching strategies, qualification and assessment protocols have all sprung from Adam’s research - not to mention the founding of this charity and The Amber Trust.

This win is a celebration of what can be achieved by research-informed music education: making sense of music, changing people’s lives. Well done Adam!
